perils of milk. Dr. McDougal.

Dr. McDougall, eloquent in his talk about the perils of milk.

It's a lengthy presentation, but well worth taking the time to watch, if you hold any illusions at all about how milk is good for you. I've put a few key points down, but fact after startling fact pour from McDougall's lips in this fascinating talk.

The lactic acid in milk leeches away calcium from the bones.

Calcium intake less important than low protein, low acid diet.

Older Eskimos lose high volume of calcium from bones, due to the amount of protein consumed.

Only when you neutralise the acid in food can its protein level promote bone growth. In the milk industry, this is achieved by injecting insulin-like growth factor one, (IGF-1) a very powerful growth hormone into cows. Recombinant Bovine Growth Factor (RbGT) is injected into cows to increase milk production, which means that that the milk has an increased level of RbGT, which is not destroyed by pasteurisation. End result: 2 studies on adolescent girls and menopausal women have indicated an increase in blood plasma levels of IGF-1. Now the dairy industry can claim that it has added all the chemistry which is necessary to produce a less acidic milk supply, promoting more bone growth    

... the rest of the dairy producers' story has not been told, following on from this, the growth promoter has been strongly linked to the development of cancer of the breast, prostate, lungs and colon. It stimulates cell proliferation and inhibits cell death ... two factors to be avoided when dealing with cancer.

This strongly supports the story of the woman who dropped milk from her diet and cured her own cancer.

The dairy industry is targeting children, telling parents that it is essential for children, for bone growth, for general health. So strong has this message become, the brainwashing so dominant, that anyone who does not give milk to their children is vilified and may even be accused of child abuse. "Hook 'em when they're young, and you've got them for life."

The whiteness of milk isn't pure. It has a high percentage of white pus cells. The dairy association of America state that you cannot have more than 750,000 pus cells per c.c. of milk  (a c.c. is a third of an ounce). Analysis of milk in America has shown that on average, milk has ha.f this amount. Milk is frequently recalled because of deadly bacteria present in it.

Dairy cattle in western countries are infected with bovine immunodeficiency virus (BIV), bovine leukemia virus (BLV bovine AIDS virus). Astonishingly, a farm typically uses the same syringes for all its cows. Blood from slaughter-houses is scooped up to make baby 'formula'.

Leukemia is more common is dairy consuming nations, and even more common in dairy farmers.

Another point mentioned is children suffering from constipation due to milk consumption. In a study, 68% of the childrens' constipation was relieved and returned to normal. Milk reintroduced into their diets 12 months later, produced constipation in 5-10 days. Many other allergic reactions are due to milk consumption, including bed-wetting (cut psychiatric bills to zero). There's also a link to type-1 diabetes.

Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, a crippling disease bringing about wheelchair-bound dwarfism, has been cured by taking away milk products from the diet.

"Milk is simply liquid meat."

Finally a note on meat-eating:

Only vegetarians have seminal vesicles, the vessels that store semen ... except for meat-eating men. This gives the lie to the idea that we are naturally meat-eating life-forms. Produces impotence, infertility, prostate closes down, you can't urinate, and prostate cancer sets in, which entails the purchase of the little blue pill because you can't get an erection.
