What's that all about? Flu's the body's way of saying, 'take a break, mate, go to bed with a hot drink.' Remember the old saying ... feed the cold and starve the fever? Why let pharma in with their synthetics? Fear! The fear they try to weave into our minds.
Not so long ago, such disgusting behaviour would have been considered to be witchcraft. It still is in the case of pharma and co., who with their ubiquitous advertising, weave their magic spells on the population.
If such activities are performed in a sterile laboratory in this age of a crude science, it's deemed to be perfectly acceptable. Science means knowledge, and their knowledge of the ultimate effects of what they're doing ... if they're truthful, they'll say they don't know. That's some knowledge, init? It's why I choose to call it crude.
I still see it as witchcraft ... of the worst kind. Notice the 'lack' in 'black magic'. Smoke and mirrors used by pharmacy and co hide the fact that it's not only useless, but downright harmful.
Weird advertising has superseded the travelling salesman's foot in the door. But belief is still simply an act of will. Are you persuaded? Do you believe it?
