Start
from any point, and every point is drawn into consciousness. A
significant point for me was the pronouncement that I'd, for some reason
as yet obscure to me, acquired something called non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
Since that earlier time, days of discovery have led me down routes which
I could only feebly have imagined.
The
term 'atom' is derived from the Greek, 'uncuttable'. Modern day
science finds it convenient to treat atoms as though they were indeed
uncuttable. However, we now know, and it has been made abundantly clear
with the release of energy in the atom bomb, that an atom is a small,
highly dynamic, packet of energy.
'What
The Bleep' is a film which gives a simplified explanation of quantum
theory. It helps in the re-assessment of the explanations of life given
to us by our educators all through our childhood. When focusing down to
the atomic level, matter begins to lose its edges, clearly defined
borders between apparently 'uncuttable' particles dissolve into energy
patterns. Just as a stream has a current and eddies, particles become wave which becomes particles.
Every
cell in the body has its own unique nature, its own energy pattern
which the homoeopath might call its perceptual essence. And in the
healthy body, every cell contributes in cooperation with the body as a
whole. Every cell is dynamic, filled with activity. Defined edges
between cells quiver with movement. Life vibrates in continuous
activity. Energy cannot do nothing ... it's the one thing it cannot do.
This beautiful balance and interplay of energy is what we have been
taught to see as a static physical body.
How does this affect our perception of the energy packets in our bodies when we come to consider the disease process?
A
problem arises when we treat it disrespectfully, when we don't give it
the due consideration it deserves. Because although the body is a
harmonious patterning of energies, it relies, too, on our contribution
to it. In effect, each cell in the body, when it is functioning
normally, is contributing to the total health of the body ... what was I
bringing to the feast that had polluted it so significantly?
The
double slit experiment proves beyond doubt that consciousness itself is
a catalyst ... just the act of observation influences what happens in
the material world.
In
the case of we as individuals, for full health, not only consciousness
of our actions, but also of how we think and feel, affect our bodies.
What we give it, what we deprive it of.
"Science
cannot solve the ultimate mystery of nature because, in the last
analysis, we are part of the mystery that we are trying to solve." (Max
Planck)
